Will this fit my aftermarket chassis?
We’ve seen one instance where an aftermarket frame caused the action to bind. On OEM Christensen Arms stocks and standard Remington 700 footprint chassis, it works great. If you’re using a custom chassis, test fit before buying.
What scope base does this take?
It uses a Remington 700 short action footprint. Any standard 2-piece or 1-piece base for a 700 short action will work. We recommend Talley or Leupold bases for a solid mount.
Is the 20-inch barrel accurate enough for long range?
Yes. The 25 Creedmoor doesn’t need a 26-inch tube to perform. This 20-inch barrel gives you 2,750-2,800 fps with 131gr Blackjack bullets and holds sub-MOA groups at 500 yards. It’s a hunting rifle, not a benchrest gun, but it’ll ring steel.
